In 1985, the department starts putting a reflective stripe on the trucks. Due to the amount of larger scale fires, a decision is made to purchase tankers that can double as an engine company to be staffed as required by firefighters called in on overtime. Tanker 2 is assigned this 1985 Spartan Gladiator.
