DeKalb County has recently moved several apparatus around.  Quint 21 was replaced by the 2015 Pierce TDA that was Truck 20 and an engine from the reserve pool.  I expect that they will get a new engine in the near future, possibly one of the six Sutphens due this fall.  Quint 21's 2015 Sutphen SL-75 is now running as Quint 24, replacing their 2015 Sutphen SL-75 which is now in reserve.  Quint 24 is a very busy company and their rig was well worn already.  A few years back, the 2009 Sutphen SPH-100 that had been assigned to Truck 16, caught fire and was heavily damaged while at the shops.  Truck 16 had recently gotten a 2015 Sutphen SL-75 and the SPH-100 was in reserve.  After sitting for a while, it was rebuilt with a new cab and placed into service at Truck 1, putting their 2009 SPH-100 in reserve.  That rig is now back in front line service, now assigned to Truck 20. This is the first non-TDA assigned to Truck 20 since it was established in the 1970's.
