This & That from Here & There
(08-24-2019, 10:58 AM)GA_Dave Wrote: The Pink Heals Chapter out of Jacksonville, FL brought two apparatus.  One of them, named "Chase", I have previously photographed.  They told me this one previously served in Arizona.

1997 E One Cyclone II
#18487

x-???, AZ

It looks very similar to Glendale, AZ's former 1996 E\-One Cyclone Ladder Tender ("LT") 152.  However, this one has some differences that tell me it isn't Glendale's.  I'm not familiar with any other similar rigs of this era from Arizona (but I'll keep racking my brain).

Glendale's rig had:
1) A JetSonic lightbar, not a Vector.
2) Different mirrors
3) A light tower on the roof at the back of the body
4) No Q, only electronic sirens
5) Front & side warning lights are different, and side scene lights are in different locations on the body
6) Cab doors are different (doors don't go all the way up to the cab roof)
7) Cab door handles are paddle-type, not lever
8) No under body puddle lights

Here's Shane MacKichan's photo of Glendale's rig for comparison:  https://vancouverfirepics.smugmug.com/US...-xHrCPBJ/A

Definitely not the same rig.  That rig is already on this thread at it's new home.  See post #7042.

Yep - There it is.  Wonder where this rig came from, then?
