They received a total of 6 of these - they went to 44, 77, 85, 125, 132, and 143. 77 seems to be using theirs the most in place of their regular Engine. Good looking rigs !

LA County's two newest Firehawk helicopters, Copter 21 & 22 arrived this afternoon at Barton Heliport the department's Air Ops headquarters, They should be available for response within the next 1-2 weeks.

At 1100 Hrs tomorrow 10\21\20 the Vernon Fire Dept will officially disband and become a part of the Los Angeles County Fire Dept, Vernon Fire Station 76 will become LA County Station 13 and Vernon Fire Station 77 will become LA County Station 52, Vernon Station's 78 and 79 will be closed and may be used for admin offices and apparatus storage.
