I was out (0545-2230) yesterday gathering more material, so I'll post yesterday's rig and today's.  When we arrived at Johns Creek, the guys were mounting tools and equipment, as it was not yet in service.  They stopped what they were doing, closed the compartments and pulled the rig outside and posed it for us to photograph.  Great guys!

Alpharetta has replaced Engine 83 with a new quint and relocated Truck 83's TDA to Station 81 to replace Milton Truck 41.  Truck 41 was quartered at Alpharetta Station 81 in an agreement to cover both cities until the completion of Milton Station 44.  The former Engine 83 has been reassigned to Engine 82, replacing their older pumper.

This past Friday, I continued my quest to photograph apparatus from every county in Georgia.  Leaving the house well before the rooster crowed, I arrived at my first target just after 9AM.  On the way, I passed through the small City of Ocilla, GA and found this rig parked outside.  The OFD is a VFD and not a soul was around, so nothing was moved out of the way and this shot was taken.  You don't see apparatus like this every day.  Seeing the green light on the officers side of the rig, I figured that Bill Friedrich would know all the details, which he did.  I plan to make arrangements to return and get better pics in the near future.
