At 9:00 am WFPS got toned out a reported structure fire. Crews got on scene and found heavy fire from the century-old 2 story building. Crews were pulled out and a defensive attack was launched and 2 more aerials were special requested to the scene. Crews are unable to get to the seat of the fire on the first floor and excavators have been called in to assist with gaining access to it. when I got on scene over 9 hours after it started flames were still visible from one of the first story businesses, and 3 aerials were in operation. all but 3 pumps had been cleared from the scene and it's expected that the fire will burn well into the night. when the fire started the temperature was around -40, with it warming up to -30C throughout the day.
