I took a little ride over to Alabama yesterday, with around nine departments on my target list, all VFD's except one.  After three failures, I shot my first two rigs of the day at the paid FD.  My contact at the next VFD was unable to meet me, nor was he able to locate anyone who could meet me.  I told him I would be in the area for a while, so if he found anyone, I would return.  I went to the next VFD and shot two more rigs, then headed back to the previous one, just as my contact there called me back.  He said they just got a call and there would be someone there after they got done.  I passed the call (car in a ditch) on the way to their station.  It was over an hour later before they returned, but I got the shot I wanted.  From there, I headed back to one of the earlier failures, but this time, I found the Chief and scored the last three rigs of the day.  I hit the other two earlier failures again on the way home, but still didn't find anyone.  Here are the results:
