Just a quick clarification, this engine is a United States Forest Service rig serving the Humbolt-Toyabie National Forest.

Thanks for posting these "harder to get" photos. You can't always find somebody at home in the volunteer stations in Clark County. Great job!

I'll add some of my recent photos from last weekend in Las Vegas for a wedding here instead of in a new topic. Although not listed as one of the depts in the topic, Boulder City is just south of the Las Vegas area before crossing the Hoover Dam into Arizona. I still don't have photoshop yet, so these are untouched from the new digital camera. I will post the last 3 from Clark County when I return from Oklahoma in a week. -David

Here are the following:

Engine 121 1999 Pierce Saber 1250/500 job #EC244

Engine 122 reserve 1989 E\-One Hush 1500/500/45A SO#7426

Truck 121 1983 Ford C8000/E-One 1250/500/50-ft TS SO#3259 to be replaced soon with I think it was a Pierce rearmount tower unknown chassis

NEW Command Unit 2006 Pierce Quantum HDR walk-in job #16998 although they had it for a while, it still wasn't completed inside and as you can see, not completely lettered from the missing letters from the front door.

Last is also posted in the air ambulance area, here is Mercy Air located at Boulder City airport. And as already been corrected, is a Bell 222

Nice shots. I remember seeing the Boulder City station from Hwy. 93. My PD Explorer post and I were heading through on our way to Flagstaff, AZ.

Do you know how far they are now on the bridge that is being built over the Hoover Dam? The support columns were in place when we went through. It was only 121F according to the thermometers in both of our cars. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stretcher.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Stretcher' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wacko' />

Phil,

Here is a shot I took while on the Nevada side looking towards Arizona. I think this is the biggest of the bridges over the Hoover Dam area.

Thanks for posting the shot David. When I was there last July there were only the shorter supports in the back. The the front two are new. How long ago was this shot?

There was a show on Discovery Channel awhile back, it followed the project. There were lots of delays with lighting storms, high winds in the canyons and the temperature being too hot for the concrete.
