I finaly found a photo of the Cape May Court House Hahn. This 1979 Hahn has a 1000gpm Hale, ans a 1000gwt.

This truck looks alot like the Rio Grande 1981 Hahn, wich also features a top mount pump control.

Cape May Court house is in Middle Twp NJ

This is a rare style chassis built by Hahn, in service with the Finderne NJ Fire co., this Hahn has a small volume Northern pump.

This truck circa 1926 may have been purchased used, as I can not find manufactures information on this vehicle.

If any one knows any thing about this rig please let me know. Also let me know if you have any contacts with the Fire department

Finderne is about 40 miles from my town so I don't have much knowledge of it. One thing I can say is that the NJ license plate on the front would not have been issued prior to about 1960. Some issued 47 years ago are still in use. The state went to a blue plate in the late 1970's but by the mid 1980's went back to the color shown.

Know this is one from way back, but when I was down in Cape May, NJ back in May of 2003 on a senior band trip, I saw and photographed the Washies Hahn pumper sitting in a lot across the street from the hotel we were staying at. It was parked up beside a wall so it was hard to get any good pics.

I had always wondered what had happened to it.

Here she is back in 2003 in Cape May. She looked in rough shape back then.

Frank- In Walt McCall's book AMERICAN FIRE ENGINES SINCE 1900 under the year 1937, you will find a photo of a quad of this style which was supposedly built for the Union FC of Hamburg. The company's history is devoid of this claim. However for reference use, this model was built in limited numbers by Hahn. Apparently there were "light and heavy" models being offered. No idea which one this was.
