The Baltimore City FD, is about to recieve 3 of these Polaris Mini-Medics, to be used in high crowded situations. There is no word on when they will go in service or where they will be housed. They will be known as ASAP 1-3. Here's a few sneak peak phots of 1 of the units as they are not done yet. I'm told they will get a 4" White Stripe & a Blue Star of Life on the box.

My agency looked at one. Not a bad unit. A regular ambulance stretcher fits on the back. The unit is A/C'ed. Miami Dade and Cleveland EMS have one. A bit pricey at roughly 60K.
Thats pretty cool. My company has an electric golf cart that can hold a strecther, it is not enclosed or anything though, just a flatbed golfcart with a stetcher mount. I will see if I can find a pic.

Got a few more indoor shots of the New ASAP Units today, this time with the striping & Star of Life Sticker, I promise as soon as the weather gets better I'll get some good outdoor shots of the unit.
