1978 Mack CF600, canopy cab, 1500/500, Mack diesel, 327 HP, automatic, Deutz 16 HP diesel generator, originally purchased by Lancaster City (Lancaster County, PA), refurbed in 1992 by Allegheny with a four door enclosure, Engine – 1, in 1999 changed to Reserve Engine #5. Traded in to KME in late 2002 who sold it to Lansford (Carbon County).

1973 Mack CF600, canopy cab, 1000/750, 6 cylinder Mack diesel, 5-speed manual transmission, 5KW diesel generator. It was originally purchased by Roherstown (Lancaster County, PA), refurbed by 4-Guys in 1988 with a 4-door enclosure and a new stainless steel body with a large diameter reel installed in the hose bed to hold 1,500 ft of 5 inch supply line. Sold in 1995 to Northeast Fire Apparatus who resold to the Mary-D Fire Company (Schullkill County) for $67,000. For sale by Mary-D in 8/06, was sold to FireTrucks Plus (CA dealer).

That rescue truck is the International/Swab that was run by the Friendship Fire Department of South Lebanon Township, Pa. I could be wrong on this date.... but 1963 International/Swab rescue truck... 250 gpm pump, 150 gallon water tank on a 4 wheel drive chassis. Was replaced in 1996 when they purchased thier new E\-One rescue truck.

More like a 1956, Frank. Our 1954 GMC/Bean had the same style cab.

Lansdowne Fire Company Delaware County station 19.



This is a 1937 Autocar US Fire Apparatus with a Hale pump.

The only USFA ID this truck has are the corner brackets on the tail board.

This rig is still owned by Lansdowne fire co and was recently repainted.

It looks like Lansdowne was once a Mack company.

Another Lansdowne post, This may have been a copy of a station photo. I have seen it before.

Lansdowne's old station on Baltimore Pike, just east of Lansdowne Ave. This station has been restored and is now a comunity office.

You can see why Lansdowne purchased open cab Seagrave trucks in the 1960's, low over head door clearence.

In 1985 Lansdowne moved to the new station, about 1 block away.

I do not have any information, but I would guess a 40's Chevy with a Darley 500gpm pump.

A Seagrave city service, information may have been incorrect but it stated this truck was in service with East Lansdowne so I scanned it.



If it was an East Lansdowne truck (then what's up with the #3) it must have been an x Upper Darby (#3 ?) or Springfield truck.

Dick Adelman and Bill Schwartz were at this parade, in the earily 1950's. It may have been Upper Darby's parade.



East Lansdowne still owns this Hale, and was very lucky to have had it refirbed by it's former owner.



West Grove purchased it's Hale back and it will cost over $100,000 to refirb! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/22_yikes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />



East Lansdown made out good!



This truck also served as Briarcliffe Fire co's first truck when it opened in 1955.
