Briarcliffe 1985 E-1 1250gpm Hale 500gwt now in service with Leedom, Ridley twp

Shaft 1984 Hahn Ford C 1000/500



When Briarcliffe was looking to by this Ford C pumper, E-1 bidded $125,000 and Hahn was $150,000.

It is all most identical to East Lansdowne's Ford C E-1 because the specs were copyied from this rig. When this truck when was sold to Leedom, it was in new condition and had very low miles.

This unit is from the Hummelstown Emergency Medical Rescue Service from Hummelstown, PA, Dauphin County. They ran this Rescue for a few years before selling it to focus mainly on running ambulances.

Ronks is home to a great local buffet, Miller's Smorgasboard. Back in the 1980's when we and two other fire departents would spend a weekend in Lancaster County while going into the Hershey parade, we'd always have our Saturday night meal at Miller's. Great food and all you can eat. The guys even gave up beer during the time we were there since there was no adult beverages served.
