Burrville Brush 46, Burrville is one of the volly companies that protects the outskirsts of the City of Torrington.
I owned a 1988 Ranger (2wd) and it was a damn good truck, so I am sure they've had a good run with this rig. I also think this one would make a nice kitbash if one was into that sort of thing.

I am surprised that the new Washington Tanker wasn't of the ones called in on a task force response to the City of Waterbury when they had a major water main break the other day. The break left the hospital among other places was without water. I would have thought Washington is a possibility as bunch of Southern Litchfield County FDs were called in.
CT is really getting on the ball as far as calling out these specialized task forces when they are needed. Foam & tanker task force from the Hartford area went all the way down to Colchester (about 25 miles) for a Fire/Explosion at a recycling center (junk yard for those who are over 30). Back in mid-June. See thread on ctfire-ems.com http://waterburynews.blogspot.com/ See the article from Thursday, June 26, 2008 for photos and story. Southern Litchfield County tankers respond to Waterbury for water main break emergency

Canaan has re-chassised and renumbered their tanker with a 1997 Mack.
