Where did you dig those up?! That's 2 of the oldest Brumbaugh rigs I've ever seen! The "BRUCO" name was not adopted until the early 50's, so, judging by the truck chassis, these are probably early 40's. Anybody have any idea about the bottom engine, I think the emergency truck is a Ford. Someday there can be a Brumbaugh/Bruco Iconographics book if stuff like this can be found...

wilkes barre city pa luzerne county ran 2 1969 gmc/howe 750gpm 500gwt, they started out as engine 1 & 2 later ended up as engine 4 & 3, 1 of them served with sugar notch fire after retired from the city . ironically 1 of them caught on fire at a blaze in the city when embers entered the cab igniting the seats
