They look like the bullet tailights from a 1959 Cadillac, though that's highly unlikely. More realistically they look like the tunnel lights mounted on Superior ambulances in the late 1960's through the early 1970's.

In honor of Scott Mattson (I didn't realize that Tascman WAS Scott Mattson.... I feel like bowing or kissing his ring or something... the man is a legend), here is the rest of the home made tankers from Lick Hill Fire Department..... they don't have the little Chevy anymore... but they do have some very unique looking homebuilt tankers.
