Here are some shot's from Saturday's parade in Millburn
Thanks Jim. Yesterday the closest I could get to it was hearing the announcements on the Morris County fire radio for the companies that were going to it.
BTW, we used to have a lady from Millburn who was very active at Firepics. Whatever happend to her?

Rich, you'll be pleased to know that the parade lasted more than two hours and was highlighted by several elaborate floats highlighting many of the town's larger civic organizations. There seemed to be more than a dozen bands marching as well. I'll post pictures of the participating First Aid Squads in the NJ EMS thread soon.
Here's the Millburn FD float.

The Union Township Fire Department attended with their newest engine and ladder. Here's their Pierce Enforcer engine with an emblem on the side stating: "Provided by Kean University."

Union's Pierce Dash stick. The sky became quite cloudy all of a sudden, hence why the flash went off <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Another crummy shot, unfortunately of a very nice rig. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> Florham Park (Morris Co.) runs this KME Excel stick.

Verona runs this formerly all-slime Pierce Arrow out of the Bloomfield Avenue Firehouse along with a pair of Pierce Lance enclosed top-mount pumpers. More pictures can be viewed at http://www.veronafd.org/
This was the last truck of the parade; the only rig I didn't get a shot of was West Caldwell's mini-pumper. Check out the NJ EMS thread for ambos and the Garden State Oldies thread for some antiques. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Jeez, you guys left me with almost nothing to post. Hell we probable walked by each other and didn't even know it. I think the one view I can share is of the driver's side on of Montvale's Crown
Montvale has a beautiful looking Crown. Some day I hope to get mine up there and do a tour of NJ with Marc and his Crown pumper, and see some of the stations of NJ and maybe even get into NYC.
Waldwick NJ had their 100th Anniversary celebration yesterday, but I stopped at a carshow in Midland Park NJ on the way that had some apparatus on display: Here is Midland Park's 2006 Pierce Lance 1500/500 on display:
Waldwick Engine 632 a 1995 Spartan/Saulsbury 1500GPM (Their history book says its a 2000GPM, but I believe the plaque on the truck said 1500GPM feel free to correct me) Last shot people started coming in with kids and the kids started climbing on the trucks which rightly so upset the FD when one wiseguy decided to pull the airhorn on 632, after that it was cable ties on the doors!

I like the lightbar on this gladiator (Spartan = gladiator, not the cab <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />)
