Ok Thanks Doug. Would you know what is going (if anything) in the holders on the drivers side above the cmparments?
No problem. Thats going to be a holder for hoselines, highrise packs I believe. Iam told the chief adopted that idea from DCFD not sure how true that is.

Ok thanks agian this rig looks like it is a darker red then most rigs
Does anybody know the manning in Melrose? I know there are three stations but I think that the two outside stations run pumps and the HQ only runs the ladder and private Amb. However I have seen a pump in there is that manned or a reserve?
great pics- melrose is all Seagrave now too right? love the area for the hose packs on the side of the rig
Well there Front Line Fleet is all Seagrave beside this engien they have a 1999 Seagrave at Engine 3 and will have a new tiller in the few weeks the reserve fleet will be the 1992 E\-One currently engine 2 and the current E\-One ladder.
Personally, i think this is one of the nicest looking rigs in the area. The color is indeed darker, it is an older Seagrave color Iam told. The gold leaf wings and circle around the number are also an older Seagrave thing. Melrose runs a Ladder with 3 or 4 out of HQ, along with a private ambulance. the reserve pumper is kept there. Stations 2 and 3 each have an engine with 3 people assigned.

being informed of the nostalgia, it could grow on me.
One of the better looking Seagraves I've seen in a while, the lettering is a nice touch. Are all the rigs in Melrose that shade of red or is this the first one?
