Is that the rig that is still in Harrisburg? I think this is the one we photographed at the station on North 6th when the CPFBA had there meeting there a number of years ago.
I just took a look and it is the engine that was at station 1. The only differences I see, they added Engine above the 16, and it didn't have the HFD on it, plus there where a couple little things added to it since, a small mirror on the driver side about the fender right at the drivers doorway, and posts and rollers for the booster real.
Frank, the rig is still in the Harrisburg area. It is currently owned by retired Harrisburg Bureau of Fire firefighter, Harrisburg Fire Department Fire Historian and writter, David Houseal, who lives in the Palmyra area. After the Pleasant View ran the rig for some time, it was sold to the Creekside Fire Company No. 21 of East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County. Dave Houseal bought it from the Creekside Fire Company and restored it back closely to it's original condition.

When it was delivered it was not built to specifications by Mack, but they added to the truck with no additional charges so the fire.co.accepted it. Purchase cost was $5000. In 1954 it was sold to unidentified buyer for $2500.
