Scott, the last few photos you posted of quads, have got to be some of the nicest photos I have seen. Just gorgeous with great settings. Thanks for sharing them. The quad is one of my favorite trucks. Rich

I can't say for sure if this is the one that's been rusting away in a yard along NJ State Highway Route 23 in rural Wantage Township, Sussex County, NJ, for the past 30 years but the one that has came from Edgewater and it looks very similar. I had pics of it stored something like 2 PC's ago but now can't find them and they were posted to the original Firepics Yahoogroup in the early 2000's.

Regarding Garfield's Maxim tiller truck. Last night one of the members of that company was a the monthly meeting of the North Jersey Volunteer Firemen's Association. He said that it was 1971 Maxim but refurbished in 1978. The reaon I mention that is that someone else mentioned that it was a 1978 yet I remembered it in 1974.

These old parade photos came in trade, so the original photographer is unknown, as is the location of this parade, altho its listed as a New York- New Jersey Firemen's Association on the photos. The RR station in the background is certainly a landmark.

Any additional info is welcome, there are a lot of unknowns here.

1st is a Maxim city service ladder from Bogota Hook&Ladder Co.
