Very nice. I was next to the current R1 this morning, and it still looks as good as when I shot it in 2003.

No this was not the OlD Beverly Engine 6 it was infact a Demo rig and the first Compact develered.
Here are a few photos taken at Wakefield's 4th of July parade.
First off, here is Somerville Ladder 2's 2007 Seagrave Maurader II 100 ft. TDA.
Ray Pitt's former Wakefield Engine 1, a 1956 Mack B sporting a fresh coat of paint.
Medford Auxillary Engine 9, a 1976 Mack CF 1250/500.
Does anyone have more pics of the Somerville TDA? That is a sharp looking rig!

Here is a link with lots of good photos at the Somerville Fire Local 76. http://www.somervillelocal76.org/?zone=/un...mp;HomeID=59031
I haven't had the chance to get up and look at it yet, but I believe it's either a 1974 or 1977, former Medford Engine 1 or Engine 3, refurbed by Greenwood in 1986 or 1988 respectively. The former Melrose Engine used by the MAFD from 1993-2006 was a 1976.

You are correct. I originally went looking on firenews.org to try find the year for this rig, but apparantly the listing there has not been updated in some time and still lists the old Melrose piece, which was a 1976. There was another Medford Mack that was refurbed by Greenwood that wound up in Peabody as well. Does anyone still know if Peabody has this on the roster? I haven't seen it kicking around in a long time.
Massport Fire Marine 2...extremely hard to get a shot of this while docked with the State Police marine units in the foreground.
