Next is the East End Fire Company No. 6 of Steelton. Company 54. This company is no longer in service. It closed's it's doors I believe sometime in the 1960's. This is the only picture of any of the East End's apparatus that I personally have seen.

GA_Dave:
Thanks for putting the serial number on. I forgot to do so as I am new to this site and am not the most computer savvy person.
I am glad you enjoyed the photos.

The Shoebox!!!!!
I believe this one might be mine... I took a very, very similair shot of this rig with the same posing/backgroung. It has the yellow look of my old 110 Disc camera (does anyone even remember those??!!) which is what I took my picture with. I of course could be wrong on this..... onto the piece itself.. I always thought it was pretty charming.. but it was really nothing more than a big box. They replaced it with a Spartan in 1996 or so.. but it doesn't have the same class as the Shoebox. Same goes for thier pumper, they replaced that Sutphen (which was a workhorse... it has pumped 6 lines many times) with a Spartan.. I think at least.. it doesn't impress/excite me so I don't even pay attention to it nor can I recall what it is (which is sad because my other department runs mutial aid with them).
