Actually it is a 2 on the door. That house was engine 7/Rescue Co.6 from 1970-1983(Rescue-6 was disbanded when the department took over ambulance service in 1976)-. Engine-2 from 1983 to 1999. Tower-2 1999 to 2003, and now Ladder-2. If anyone cares....
