A large part of my collection was purchased from a GOOD man, John Floyd. I give him FULL credit on his work, although I may miss something. Thanks John. Also Scott Mattson, Warren Jenkins, Michael Schwartzberg, and Mike Sanders. Thanks Guys.
Takoma Park VFD, 1977 Duplex R-300/Oren 1000/500, 1 of 2, one kept by TPVFD and extensively rebuilt. The other was sent to the long defunct Mt. Aetna Refurb facility in Hagerstown,MD., stripped for refurb, but never completed. The hulk was eventually taken to the Frederick Co.,MD. DPW facility, where after several more years, it disappeared (early 90's).

The 1979 Ford L-700/Stahl x-Wash.Gas was donated about 1996-1997 to Paw Paw,WV. Used there as a rescue until early 2000's. Last seen and photographed by me in 6/05 about halfway between Cumberland and Oldtown,MD. on RT.51 in a private lot with very unfriendly owners...
This one, the 1976 Chevy C-50/Firemaster, was originally a Cabin John engine "minipumper", converted around 1983? for the hazmat unit.Have photo of it after going OOS from FD (early 90's) with a large orange "cap" covering rear body, and the lettering; JB Marco 721-7308.
