Ran up on this classic at Seiberts Towing...a longtime Richmond area fixture...behind Southside Plaza at Bely Blve and Hull Street. Late 40s or early '50s Ford, unknown body and winch manufacturer.

Here's a shot of the above wrecker taken in 1994 in my hometown.I was a big fan of Kauff's towing,maybe due to there being a family connection or was it because they were red/white and reminded me of fire trucks......Anyway quite amazing to see it is still serving...

Ok, I know little about tow trucks, but spotted these beauties at a parade in Pelham, NH yesterday. All rigs pictured are from Woody's Towing in Pelham. There was also an International flatbed there as well, but couldn't get a clear bystander free photo of it.

This is the Massachusetts Bay Transportaton Authorites Wrecker 451 assigned to the Southampton garage for use on the Silver Line Transitway. Its a 2004 Mack.

This heavy duty rig is in the Scranton, PA area. It is an Oshkosh chassis, with a boom that is 75 ton rated, 360 degree rotation and an unknown boom extension. It is one massive wrecker.
