FYI, there was a very nice article and pic in the WASHINGTON TIMES paper today about Grottoes,VA. retrieving their 1948 Hahn custom pumper from private ownership, and the VFC'S plans for restoration. This was an open-cab model that was immortalized in O.Winston Link's book, "Steam,Steel, and Stars", for those that have R.R. and FD interests.
