A quick picture before heading back home from the Strawberry Festival in Greenwood, Indiana.

I'm so bored today. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Great pics. Even after all those years of service, a little elbow grease and a nice coar of wax, and the Squrt's looking terrific. What type of wax product do you use? A friend in our club recommended Griots to me. I tried it once, now I am hooked on their products, and silicone free. Frank

It depends. Mario likes the Nu Finish Once a Year Polish. I use Turtle Wax Platinum Series Ultra Gloss Paste Wax, though. The Nu Finish wax works well on the Crown, but the Turtle Wax has helped bring back the paint on the ALF 700 Series a lot better. So, now I use it on all of the trucks.
I posted these in Ole Gray's thread, too, but what the heck. The Crown also won an award for "Best Special Interest" vehicle at the car show. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />
The Crown was in a wedding on Sunday, June 24th, 2007. I didn't catch a lot of pictures of it because of the craziness going on around it, but I managed one picture. My good friend Mike P. also had two pictures of it to share -- the first two pictures were taken by him, and the last picture was taken by me once it was parked after the arrival.

[/quote] Congratulations! Many happy times during that day I am sure. Just sent the both of you a PM. All of you, the Crown included ( <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) look great !!!! Frank
Today was the Annual PPPSI Muster at the Wayne Township Fire Department Training Grounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I got to get me a set of rims like the ones you have for your Crown. When polished, it really makes any truck look good, especially those Crown 'squrts !!

Hi Frank, I'm sure you'll think of a way to set your truck apart from the rest. As it is, a Crown TeleSqurt is unique in its own right.

This past Saturday was the 4th Annual Uniontown Fire Engine Show in Uniontown, Indiana. I've always attended this show with Gray or Green, so, needless to say, the Crown was a crowd pleaser.
For a minute, I felt like the muster season was winding down, but we still have 4-5 more events to attend before the end of October.

An Indiana event without Big Green or Old Gray just doesn't seem right. Per chance were there any Macks in attendance? Lindsay D Richardson, TX

Big Green is taking this muster season off but should be out again in time for the 2008 SPAAMFAA Winter Conference down there. Ole Gray has been out and about but needs some work done to its generator. The Crown has been picking up the slack and making all of the local events, apart from three missed musters in Ohio and Michigan. There were two Macks there; the Mack B-405 and the 1935 Mack that was also at the Indianapolis Muster.

Hey Lindsay... Ole Gray is a bit under the weather. I'll have her out for the Hope Heritage Days parade September 30th. How are you doing? Bruce........... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Never fear. We're on it! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stretcher.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> On another note, it's too hot and humid here. The past couple of days have been nice, but now that the rain has moved on, it's just miserable again outside.
Here, Lindsay. Since you told me I needed to post some pictures. (You never specified which pictures.)
I like this one, though. It has my favorite interloper in it. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Some of us in front of the Crown at the Texas Fire Museum last Spring.
