Tom:
In 1980 Tuscarora (Schuylkill Co.),PA purchased a 1962 Amer La Fr 1000/500 from Trappe (Montgomery Co.),PA. In Aug.,2004 they sold it to a college student in Carlisle,PA. Its red color was a lighter shade than the Hecktown Amer LaFrs. The
Tuscarora Amer LaFr did not have a built up hosebody like the Hecktown unit.

Tuscarora did in fact have an ALF Century, but it wasn't the same one as Hecktown. The wheelbase was shorter and the compartment configuration was different.
