1946 Chevy/ Darley 250/100 Engine #3 Owned by the Village of Downers grove FD. I was purchased new in 1946 from Darley. The DGFD owned it til the mid 1970's and it was sold to the Tonica Il FD . They used it til the mid 80's when it was sold to a collector. The collector had it til 1995 when he donated it back to the DGFD. In 1998 it was frame off restored by firefighters and the village fleet services for the 100 year centennial.



I drive it to the Chicago emergency vehicle show every year.
