Two of Atlanta's Centurys. Both gone now. Went at auction to who-knows-where... Also posted on the Atl. pages. This was obviously from two different orders. Note, the Q is on opposite sides and 23's unit had a stack exhaust. 15 and 25 also had the stack. Centurys served at Engines 15, 23, 25, 29, 30 and 38. (GA Dave - can you help us with the model years?)

You forgot one.....

I'm at the station tonight, I have the specific info at home, I'll post it tomorrow. The Century pumpers were delivered between 1983-1985, as were the four Century TDA's.

The ALF pumper that used to be Yellow 8 is sitting next to Station 7 in the fenced in area. Looks like it has seen better days. I might try and take a pic of it anyway.

Between both of you, the rigs are all there, but each list is missing one! Mike's list is missing Ladder 11's TDA, which was a 1984. The 1983 TDA on his list was Ladder 4 until they were disbanded, then went to Ladder 38 for a few months until their 1991 Spartan/LTI was delivered. Keith's list is missing the 1985 pumper that is/was Yellow 8.

According to the info I have, the 1983 pumpers were Engines 15, 23, 25, 30, and 38. Engines 18 and 29 had 1984 models and the lone 1985 pumper went to Yellow 8, for a total of 8 pumpers. The TDA's went to Ladder 4 in 1983, Ladders 11 and 21 in 1984 and Ladder 16 in 1985. Ladder 16 was the last TDA built at Elmira.

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but the Atlanta ALF Century rigs did not have the typical Century bubble-side jumpseat windows. Neither did those that went to FDNY.

The Rube had Yellow 8 saved from the auction block for it to be restored as a parade piece. It was at the shop for quite a while. Since he's gone, now it's any body's guess what her fate will be. It will probably go to the block, now. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Banghead' />
