The name will be ARTV 329. It will be replacing the manifold/hosewagon at Engine 329. It has no pumping capability, numerous discharge gates and will be stocked with 4 1/2 supply line.

Here's what it looks like in the daylight so Ed can spot it if he's down that way again.

I had a good time at Rory's with you guys![/quote]
Marc,
I had a great time as well. Since Coopers in Queens is gone (well, new owners and name anyway), Rory's might become a regular spot for me.
The fire was a 1 apartment fire, and we didn't see anything from the street. It was about an hour after we left you. The job was at 312 W 23rd St, and I was at the West Side Highway and W 48th when they hit the 10-75. We got in about 4 minutes later....beat the Rescue, Squad (so much so I didn't even realize they were there), and Engine 34.

I couldn't agree with you more! I know some people LOVE their Quantums, but I think it's a face only the Pierce engineers who designed it could love, and I look at it as the Continental Compac of the 21st Century.

I beg to disagree slightly. The Continental Compac was extremely blah. The Quantum is actively FUGLY!
<img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> One of the funniest things i've read on here in awhile, and VERY true!!!!
The only MARC in 46 ENGINE!

RIP Captain Frank Keane 46 Engine F.D.N.Y 12-11-06
Sorry I have to say this but I have a soft spot for the Continental Compac's I loved them when Yonkers had them it was like a Toyota of fire engines. I would love to get one and restore it. But none are left.
