Well looking at the nickname on the brow I would say it belonged to Susquehanna in Pennsylvania at one point in time. I know the new ALF they purchased a couple years ago says "HAMBONES" on it as well.

It is at Lady & Taylor's junk yard entrance. Back in Post #1121 Dr. Stinebaugh posted a picture of Landover Hills engine and you can see the back part of the same Tastycake truck.

It's on PA 234 about 2 miles west of Heidlersburg, PA. in Adams Co. Going towards Biglerville, look for the xFDNY ALF in post #1107 on the left, the junkyard is on the right...

Looks alot like one of the old Philly '75-'76 Mack's. Maybe it was rehabbed at one point?

NO, it is not, you are confusing this shop with another one. The LADY & Taylor Body shop is located in Adams County, PA., less than 30 minutes from where I live in Thurmont,MD. It is also known as PA Fire Apparatus. If you need further convincing, I will post my photo of the shop buildings sign...

I'm gonna say that CF is not from Columbia#4. From what i remember above the windshield were the MACK letters.

Susquehanna was written under the windshield in goldleaf, and I think the Hambones CF had only lowside compartments on the pass side.



If anyone, Rheems1 will know.

It is not the same...Susquehanna had an extended bumper and different compartments on the officers side. I thought the same when I saw the name above the windshield.

I agree it has a PHILLY look to it. The Macks where a "small" order - even though the Mack plant was just 30 or so miles away. Might have been sold and referbed as Marc said.

The Philadelphia Macks had different marker lights on the roof than these. both had the side stack exhaust. Philadelphia had a ladder on theirs where the suctions are on the relic... you be the judge... I dont think so. and yes, the pic is a 1975, not a 1976. from the same order.

yes they are. long double door on the relic, singles on the Philly rig.
