They also have a Freightliner/Toyne pumper tanker on order. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Needless to say, I was glad to have gotten it. Do you know, since I gather you're from the area, is there any time where there might be some staff in Tampico? I'd really like to shoot their department one of these days, but I know they're volunteer.

We'll see if I can find something out for you. The tongue in cheek remark was due to the fact that I sold the unit due in Prophetstown. They're a great bunch there. If you ever want to head north, I'm in the Rockford area. I could probably help you get some shots in some volunteer departments up this way that aren't staffed.

Lately, I've been trying to shoot that general area, so any help would be appreciated. I have been making the trek from Racine, WI, so it's always nice to find departments that are staffed. Primarily I'm trying to get some older apparatus from the 70's and 80's so any advice would be appreciated. Otherwise though, I'll keep you posted when I'm planning another trip. Thanks, Evan

I handle all apparatus sales in Illinois for the Illinois Fire Store, which is the dealer for Toyne in all of Illinois and the southern half of Wisconsin. If I can help you with anything, shoot me a PM and I'll get in touch. For anyone offended that I may be getting business from the board, I apologize. That was not my intent with my post saying that I sold Prophetstown's pumper/tanker. Some of you guys know me from Firehouse.com's forums. There I really try to toe the line with trying to push one brand over another on a forum, and I will do the same here.
