As far as I know, Engine 21/Engine 4 as it was known before and after renumbering was bought from Firemaster Fire Apparatus in Springfield, MO. I'm not positive but I thought it was purchased new. I can contact my contacts at Nixa and find out for you if you are truly interested in knowing. This engine was sold sometime in the last 2 years to the Highlandville Fire Protection District and is still in service. This engine is still my personal favorite and is a pumping machine! They don't make them like they used to.

Pittsburgh had about ten of these rigs. I shot a very similar rig several years ago here in Georgia. Does anyone have the Registration numbers for the Pittsburgh rigs? The one I shot was 8-1-1284.
