The Monroeville Engine 5 open cab was the last open cab ALF made. It is now in service in Wall, not far from Monroeville.

Sorry Mike, didn't mean to step on your toes regarding the Monroeville Engine 11. Just got home and logged on and didn't see you replied until after I went through.
Shoop, nice photos, keep them coming.

Jeff,
I thought that the Large rig I posted may have been the one that was sold to Neville Island, but it isn't. The rig that I photographed in Neville Island isn't a pumper/tanker, and only has a single axle. I'm starting to wonder whether Large had two Hendrickson/Jaco's, and if so, where did this monsterous pumper/tanker end up, or did they have the body removed, and replaced with a new one.

A 1983 ALF with an open cab. That's rare.

Not far from Monreoville for Wall? It borders it. Engine is about 4 miles from where it began serving <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ' />
Shoop, wonderful shots! Keep 'em coming. I know I like the Western PA pics!

More info on the Monroeville units
The 67 ALF 900 Monroeville #5 (E-52) had a 750 gallon tank. The Fire Chief there at the time confirmed it. It was sold in 83 to Lincoln VFD (Allegheny County). They placed a canopy cab on the unit and it server there until the late 90's. I believe it was finally scrapped after that.
The 83 ALF Century Monroeville #5 (E-52) was refurbished in 1988 by Kenco where it received at the time the new Monroeville VFD color and stripping scheme. It was sold to Wall VFD (Allegheny County) in 2000 where it serves today as E-287.
The 67 WLF at Monroeville #4 (E-41) had a 500 gallon tank. It was sold to Mt. Pleasant VFD, Hickory (Washington County) in 1981.
The 75 WLF at Monroeville #4 (E-42) was refurbished in 1988 by Kenco where it received the new Monroeville VFD color and stripping scheme. It wa sold to Alpine City, Utah in 1992
The 77 Seagrave at Monroeville #5 (E-51) had a 1500 pump. It was sold to Morrell VFD (Fayette County) in 1988
The 77 Seagrave at Monroeville #1 (E-12) was refurbished in 1988 by Kenco and was painted white and given the new Monroeville color and stripping. It was sold to Whitney-Hostetter VFD (Westmoreland County) in 1993
The 85 ALF at Monroeville #1 (E-11) was refurbished in the mid 90's by New Lexington. The 10 speed transmission was replaced with an automatic and the 2500' LDH hose reel was removed. As stated before it was sold to Munhall VFC #5 in 2005 where it serves as E-204.
Monroeville did have the distinction of having the "last of" from American LaFrance Elmira. The last open cab made (E-52) and the last vehicle made (E-11).

Morrell sold it to Smock in 2005 and I believe it is still there, just with a different name on it.
Thanks for the history, it fills in a lot of holes! I can't believe that old old 52 was Lincoln Boro's engine. Just goes to show you what you learn on this website!

Monroeville's 75 WLF (E42) appears to have a somewhat rare(?) Reading-Techmatic Articulated Water Tower (AWT) mounted on it - wonder how many of those were out there? Nice classics, thanks for sharing...

Someplace on this sight is a list of Reading Tower.
I wish monroeville would have kept those unique color schemes. Now they are all white with a red strip and just plain. You cant tell them apart unless you see the letters
station76rit,
I have been home all day sick. During that time period I uploaded over 60 slides to put on here. They are from all over the state, and include multiple different kinds of apparatus. I will be posting some of them later on, but not all.

The Northampton Maxim I would have to guess be Northampton in Northampton County not Bucks.
John,
You are correct. I just looked up the station numbers.
