Sandisfield is replacing both their Tankers 1 & 2 with the monster:
KW/Rose Ledge (towing company out of Erving, MA) The rig had sleeper cab that was removed and Rose Ledge mounted the 2000 gallon tank. I'll have to ask what the Tech Weld name plate on the back is all about. This rig is not yet in service. Sandisfield is also considering a new rescue pumper (contingent on grant $$) to replace their 20 year old Engine 1 (GMC/Pierce).

Granville's Ambulance GMC/McCoy Miller 4x4 shot this past Saturday 3/15 - spring doesn't come to the high country right away. I heard while at the drill that they are working on putting together a brush truck out of a ex-GI truck.

Ed,
Tech Weld is a tank builder, mostly oil delivery stuff. My guess would be that the local guys adapted one of their tanks. Sharp rig. Are they leaving it black?
I finally solved a long standing fire service mystery - why Granville has an Engine 1 and an Engine One. Its really simple actually - Engine One is really Engine 2 or is it Engine Two...basically the money to reletter the engine always seems to get chewed up by some other more pressing need, according to one of thier chief officers.
So with out further ado here's Granville Engine 2 (Two): 1986 IH/Kovatach 1000 GPM/??? I love the concept of pre-connected suctions on rural supply/attack pumpers

Tolland Engine 1 Mack/Howe Tolland is expecting a new mini pumper/rescue sometime around the New England Chief's Show. They are also going to the town to try and get a new firehouse.
