A Quick reply from Chief Doherty via Email.

Yes. We have re-acquired our 1936 Seagrave Ladder 2. Originally stationed at Central. We found it up in Kittery, Me. Originally went to Medfield from us in early 60's. Somebody from Stratham, NH. Got it who was going to make camper out of it and then the woman we got it off of bought it for her son who was a vol up there. They thought they were going to restore it but never did. It has been sitting in their yard for last seven years and had been garaged the years before. It seems like it is in solid shape needs a lot of TLC. Supposedly was first truck in Mass to have hydraulic outriggers.

Glad to see the rig back home... we had talked to the woman in Kittery a year or two ago, but one project truck in the yard is enough! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Here is a photo I took last May when I stumbled across it in Maine.

It's good to see it home!

Fantastic that Revere was able to bring that back to Mass.

Who are "we" that brought it home? The City, the Union or some of the Brothers?

Just curious.
