Any word on when we might start seeing some new FDNY engine's?[/quote] When I was at FDIC, our Seagrave rep showed me two pictures of the prototype that he had on his cell phone. Sweet looking rig even though it was a cell phone picture. I am unsure of how far along they are but it looked pretty complete to me.

Just give me a little more space to get my mask on and i'll be happy. As a skinny guy, it's tight even for me in the back of our current rigs.
The only MARC in 46 ENGINE!

Was told one engine is done and should be in the city as sone as two weeks. But this may not be true.

Seagrave Sales & Service in East Brunswick?
I was talking to one of the Seagrave guys that I've known for quite awhile, and he told me there were "some issues" with FDNY not wanting the rig to be shown. He couldn't/wouldn't elaborate further. Something about the people in New York City that do the "licensing or whatever" are getting a little difficult to deal with.
Take all of that and this for what it's worth. He did indicate that Seagrave is wanting a "new" model company (can anybody say TWH) to do an Aerialscope (FDNY would be the logical choice) and they were having problems getting THAT approved. Overall, the FDIC was spectacular as always. We took my oldest grandson (8 yrs.) and my son-in-law. They had a blast. My son's and I got to check out what we needed to, and that's fine.
I can see the City of New York wanting to unvail there next generation of pumpers, ladders and platforms on there own turf. It will be great to see FDNY get some new rigs.

Theres one intake and one discharge on the front bumper because all the new engines are 2000 gpm pretty much how the engines that go with the satelites are set up... for instance E 324................
Any word at all on the towerladders??

Do they usually do some sort of open house kind of deal when they unvail the apparatus?
I have a question about Squad 1's TRV. What sort of equipment does it carry, and what makes the TRV differn't from the Hazmat vans that run with the other Squads.
Thanks

That would explain the bumper situation better.... Thanks!
