It carries the Squad 1 HAZ MAT equipment in addition to the technical rescue equipment (saws, drills cirrbing, Hurt tool, generators, lights)

ok, just a dumb question, but since I am somewhat interested in the legal issue here...just because they don't WANT you to publish the images, what control do they have over you?

assuming you took the images from public property or in a public place, there isn't a thing they can do to you with the following exceptions:

1. You work for FDNY (even though this is highly debatable as well) or;

2. You work for the vendor who is under contract to FDNY, in which case you might be covered by a confidentiality clause if you agreed to it.

If you took the images on private property, then the property owner could object to your presence.

I am interested because I once got into a legal battle with FDNY Inspector General after 9-11 when I provided rigs for the ceremonial funerals, and the department called me up and tried to push me around. After a few minutes of threats, I asked the investigator if I worked for FDNY, of course he answered no, and I told him to take the matter up with someone whom he could actually control.

I might be Fleet Services...

There is a RED FDNY plate on the front. EMS did not have Lime units. FDNY did have some chrome yellow support units, Marshals vans, Comm Trucks and other things running around at this time frame.

Interesting news about the new rigs destined for the FDNY, will be good to see them at some point. The ALF's and Mack 'scopes are ALWAYS good to see--thanks for posting them!

I understand this if you are some how affiliated to the FDNY or other circumstances mentioned above but a picture of a rig, what harm can it do where all going to see it at some point, so why cant you just put it up if your not tied to the FDNY, its a firetruck not a top secret weapon...just curious thats all

Joel,

Just a quick correction on your last two pics of 5 Truck and 175 Truck. They are 1980 models, not '76's.
