Scott - Thank you for sharing these great shots! Regarding the Pleasantville Seagrave Pumper - could that actually be a Maxim Patrol? From the research I have done Pleasantville ran mostly ALF pumpers but did have a Maxim Patrol of the early 1930's vintage? Perhaps Howie can shed some light - regardless - please keep this great stuff coming!
Quote:New Paltz, NY had this beautiful Ward LaFrance pumper. 1955 WLF 85T 500 GPM #3862 Here is a shot of it taken this past summer in Birmingham, AL. Quote:The Snyder FC of Amhurst, NY (that sound right?) had this 1976 Oshkosh/Young 100' ladder. Snyder is a community located in the Town of Amherst, NY, in Erie County. This rig, a 1976 Oshkosh L-1838/Young 1000/0/100' LTI ladder, #76-631, served Snyder until 1990 when it was sold to Kearsarge, PA, then to Brookside, PA, and most recently to Miles City, MT. |
