Fireboat Edward Cotter, Engine 20.
Buffalo, NY The oldest active fireboat in the country and the only one to respond to another country for a fire. (Canada)

I believe once it's delivered and placed in service, the "Chief Seattle" fireboat will go in for some repairs and the "Alki" will be retired. Someone else with more knowledge on this, feel free to tell us !
Is this being manufactured by the same company that built the new fireboat for Los Angeles? They look very familiar to each other with the exception of the propulsion systems.

Is this the one from Leary's foundation that theyre hoping they can get working in time for the dedication? Heard from the guys that altho the boat is new, it has some issues.
Here is the Toronto Fire Service Fireboat.

Here are the pics that I have of the Detroit Fire Department "Curtis Randolph". I will look around and see if I can come up with a photo of it in it's previous Lime Yellow paint scheme.[img]
windsormedic,
Thanks. If you have the Lime pics, make sure you send one to the "Lime Guy", even though it's a Fireboat, he'll certainly appreciate the color !! Also, is the Curtis Randolph the only one the Detroit FD has ? Just curious. Chris

It is only in-service for about 6 weeks, from near the end of June, for approximately 6 months. Lasalle Fire Service in Lasalle, Ontario has 2 boats that they use on the Detroit River. Here is a pic of one of them. The other boat is larger.
The pic of Mobile FB-2 is from me.
KDFI3,
I sent you a PM Chris

Just for refrence the picture of Marine 1 - "The Firefighter" A 1972 6000GPM was taken by me John Parise. No its not. There was a time were the BFD was considering rejecting the new boat, i guess the hull of the boat was ripped open and then after it was fixed the hole opened up again. The BFD did accept the boat and had a dedication.
Boston Fire Department Marine 2 - The "St.Florian II".
