The Coupland, Texas Tanker looks like an xUSAF Dodge/Consolidated Electric Demineralized water tanker. they were used for jet Engine Demineralized water for KC-135A and older model 9pre H-model) B-52's and B-47 bombers. the water was injected into the earlier modle jet engines to improve thrust on takeoffs.

Your right. When Jollyville toke delivery of it back in 90's it had USAF markings on it.
