Tonight I just left my house, I was scanning Police and Fire as usual. St. Louis County Police was at Motel 6 on Bowels Ave in Fenton. They advised they had smell of smoke in the area and mulitple fire alarms were activated within the motel. This is only 2-3 miles from my house so I went to check it out. I made it to Fenton FPD house 2 as the 1st alarm was being toned out. "1325, 1334, 1314, 1345, 1914, 1327, 1303 respond 1st alarm smoke in the area with alarm activation. County police on scene advising smell of smoke in the area of Motel 6."
1325 and 1327 arrived on scene, nothing showing, but had an odor of smoke present. They requested all incoming units stage at the entrance. A room to room search of the motel was conducted, but nothing was located. The alarm was reset and all companies went inservice after 30 min on scene.
I was only able to get pictures of 2 units on scene.
Now thats a pretty good shot. Wipe out the motel-6 sign in photoshop and its better!!! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I will be keeping everyone informed on any new stuff being purchased here. But for now, you all will have to settle with some misc. stuff from my files. Not much action around here. I missed one while i was at work yesterday.
The 4's running Reserve 134 at a still alarm on a nice day.
here are some pics from a smoke in the building call that i caught the tail end of. i also have a short video of Pumper 32 flyin' down Grand Ave. when i was pulled over.
Reserve 134 available light, flash, and available light side shot. don't know who was running her that night but i know it wasn't the 4's, they were on a medical call at the time these pictures was taken.
