White County Engine 6 has the same specs as Engines 3 and 7 (1991 Ford F-800/American 1000/750). The former Tanker 7 is a 1991 Ford F-800/American 1000/1100, same as Tankers 2 (that we saw) and one other. Those were the six rigs Cleveland's chief was telling us about.
Seems as though I missed a couple of the White County rigs. I don't know how but here they are. Dave, can you fill us in on the information on them please. Thanks. Engine 4 is this Ferrara rig.

Not sure what number that was you wrote down! Tanker 5 might be a Fouts Brothers tanker, they use black poly tanks like that.

Yes, Truck 4 was delivered along with Truck 6. Tanker 5 was actually an American Fire, but was rebuilt from the cab back after an accident a few years ago. I had a blast guys...thanks for letting me tag along.
So, back in the swing for 2009, I ventured to Miami-Dade County, FL yesterday for their second annual Fire-Rescue Day. There were too many clouds and too many people in the way but I managed to shoot, and reshoot, a bunch of rigs and equipment.
I also met fellow FirePics contributer Alex, aka Firepics21.
For better or worse, here are some of the photos. Information is sketchy so feel free to update me if needed.
Since food is most important, I've got pictures of the canteen units staffed by the Dade County Firefighters' Benevolent Association. This one is an unknown year Chevrolet W5500HD Canteen Unit.
I wouldn't normally include a photo of a rig blocked by trees but I did this one. It's another piece of the canteen unit, a 2001 Freightliner and trailer.
Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue is the only department I know of that has a snake bite unit. Venom 1 is a 200? Ford Excursion. The team responds anywhere in the country at the ring of a phone.
For those of you who use job numbers, I got them when I could. Engine 7 is a 1996 Pierce Quantum 1250/750 Pumper #EA178-02. Again, feel free to correct me if I'm off on tank or pump size on some of these.
Air-Rescue 3 was one of two helicopters in the show. On static display was their 1999 Bell 412EP. This one had just lifted off headed back to the barn at the end of the show. All the spots on the picture are dirt and debris.
