I'm sure someone in the New England area can ID this piece as it has made the circuit for years. It is marked "Bellmen", "Engine 3". Forgive my ignorance. I do believe it is a 1953 model. AS I SCAN MY COLLECTION INTO THE COMPUTER, I CAME UPON A RARE ALF. IT'S A 1965 ALF HOSEWAGON BUILT FOR THE HUNTINGTON LI NY FD. THIS IS A RARE PIECE FOR A SUBURBAN VOLUNTEER DEPARTMENT. PHOTO BY HWDOYLE

No details - shot at the CT Cellar Savers Show 2006, it is marked for Sommerville.

A relic in rough shape currently sitting in Columbia County, NY

Lancaster, NY - now lives at the FASNY Museum in Hudson.

Utica NY ran this 1949 ALF as Engine 5 most of it's career, it last served as Engine 8. Thankfully, it did not hit the scrap heap like so many other Utica rigs over the years. There are plans to restore it in the works.

As far as I know, this one is still owned by the Susquehanna, PA Fire Co. It was kept in its own little museum-type space when I visited. Unfortunately, I have a bad habit of not recording any specs of the trucks I photograph.

This rig sat for awhile on an auto auction lot in Philadelphia a few years back. The owner of the lot couldn't give me any history, but I thought it was a very cool-looking truck. Clean, too. Bloomsburg, PA, maybe?

yes that was bloomsburg pa,ironically they have an open cab hahn they are currently replacing and selling

Now, I know that there are still more out there. I'll try to get another group of pictures scanned in the coming weeks. Until then, here's a 1952 that's been bouncing around the area for a while. I was turned on to this truck just over two years ago when its previous owner still had it. It disappeared for awhile until another Firepics member located it again and pointed me in the right direction. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />



I do have the Reg. No. for it, but I think we might've goofed and written it down incorrectly. It doesn't seem to match with the information that I was able to gather for that particular number. When I have a chance, I'll double-check it.



Apologies for not being able to get a good picture of the "correct" side. There's a semi-truck tractor parked very close to it.

1948 ALF Serial # L-3223



Can anyone identify the original owner?
