Glad to see that the Steelers pulled it off. I'd love to see the black and gold again. BTW - It was a Buckeye from THE Ohio State University that won the game. The Pirates and/or the Pens need to step up if it is going to be "The City of Champions" again. I was listening to PBF on ScanAmerica last night at the end of the game. It was quiet until the dispatcher announced.. "27 - 23 --- Pittsburgh" Then someone said "Deploying the task forces" and then all hell broke loose...

Even though I grew up in the area... I still don't quite understand the burning furniture thing...

Unfortunately I had to work last night or I was going to venture out to Pittsburgh for the night. I did hear that they manned a number of reserve rigs, and listed them as units in the 40's.

These ALF Pioneer Mid Mount Aerials, are you sure they are not 85'? My info shows 85' and when you look at the photo of the ALF 900 mid mount, it looks like the exact same 3 section ladder that you have as an 85'. I know I am splitting hairs, but I am just curious. They seem very short for 100'.

Truck 51 was an 85' model, purchased in April of 1973.

ALF 100' ladders have 4 sections. The ones on the Pioneers are 85'.

I walked into work and to my surprise i see this sitting in the garage awaiting delivery........its nice to have the KME dealer in town and use the spare bay to house new deliveries

17 Engine at the Red Bull Inn fire on Shady Ave. on 8/11/88. This was the day of the Western PA Firmens Convention in Universal. This fire went to 4- Alarms
