Hey Commiss,



Great shots of Independent's two engines. Just some inform for you so you can correct your post. The two pumpers are not Engine 9 or 11. From what I was told during the wet down of their new Pierce Dash, those numbers represent which apparatus they have use over the years. So the new Pierce Dash is the 11th fire truck / apparatus they have used since their organization.



The one labeled "11" is Engine 106 and the one labeled "9" is Engine 105 as per the Westchester County, NY numbering system. The truck that was labeled "10" was retired a year ago and it was a 1980 Hahn (#8) refurbished by Pierce in 1993 (became #10).
