However they are not recognized as an alleghney county fire department. Nor dispatched by allegheny county.

They are known as Station 30 in Beaver County, but they are physically located in Allegheny County. Can anyone offer an explanation?

I was explained the story once before, but I can't remember all of the details. Leetsdale, Big Sewickley Creek, and Fair Oaks all are in Allegheny County, but are dispatched by Beaver County, and have an oddball number. I'll send the chief of Fair Oaks an email to find out the story again.
