Bad shot of Haz-Mat 1 and also part of the haz-mat 1 crew is Pumper 28 Parked out on Broadway.
The last shot on the day was another bonus! The fire boat " Jack Buck" was sitting out on the Patio of its quarters. The guys were obviously doing some Haz-Mat drills in side.
Great Additions Ben.

Great photos. I agree the LTI Trucks were really cool. Two questions the 28's has Power Arc LED's, is St.L FD switching all of the Smeal's to LED's. If they are ask them to add a Q2b <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> The Power Arc LED's look great, glad to see blue and red. Also I noticed on the Brentwood Mack C it has a Blue Federal Becon Ray pipe light. Why is it blue was it red at one time? Just intrested. Keep the photos comming. Stay Safe Brother.

I am not sure if we are switching to all new lighting i will ask around. I wish they would add the Q2b's on all our trucks... The '96 E\-One for H&L 6 that is oos is the only unit we have that has a Q. I have heard them use it once on their way to the 5th alarm at 459 n. newstead last year. Phil might be able to help with the brentwood rig. although, it is a very nice looking mack.

I believe the beacon has always been blue. The photos I have of it the light is blue. And to this day, it is still blue. The truck appears to still be in decent condition. It has been outside under an over hang for a number of years, it could use a little more life in its color, but from the road it looks pretty good. It is currently parked at Suntrup Ford on Manchester Rd. in Kirkwoood, MO.
Just got back from running to a call on south broadway but it turned out to be nothin'. By the time i got back my dad was home and i asked about the 28's LED's and he says they are just trying the power arcs but we will eventually be going to all LED and the new state law is requiring blue lights for the rigs also. i am guessing power arc is our first venture because thats what we are using now.
here is a pic of STLFD's New Truck 50 out at Lambert International Airport.
