Just an FYi for anyone who might be interested, I saw Franklin Twnsp, NJ's( Sussex County) Hahn pumper sitting out at the Dept of Public Works building. They just received their new Sutphen pumper, so I am assuming that this truck is sitting there waiting for disposition.

Spoke to an Ex-Chief from Finderme... He agrees that the engine was one of Theirs. Sometime around the 1940's be stated. He was going to check with some of the older members and see what he could find out.

Several of our guys heard that Franklin Fire Department's wetdown for their new baby is tomorrow but am not sure. Also, it's not one of our five or six Franklin Township's, it is Franklin Borough with the only post office named Franklin in New Jersey.

Aren't those guys of Wallington great? Especially the Park Row Hose Co. 3 members? That firehouse is the first firehouse where I had my first legal beer as a fire department member following their 50th anniversary parade in June 1973. Even though I wasn't 21, New Jersey had just lowered the age to join to 18 and also lowerd the drinking age to 18, something a decade later went back to 21. BTW, I think it was Rheingold.

This 1986 Hahn Tiller originally served Stonewall Jackson VFD of Manassas, Va. It was purchased from a firefighter in the Boston area and driven to Phoenix, Arizona where it was restored. Now known as the "Freedom Fire Truck"

The truck can be rented out to host events. I found this truck at the Kingman Arizona Memorial ceremony comemorating the 35th anniversary of the propane railcar explosion that killed 12 fireman held on July 5th 2008.

More details of this truck can be found on www.fireupfreedom.com

Don't want to be there after the sun goes down. Driving by both rigs were out front, but some training was going on and the guys couldn't be bothered. So its this shot or no shot. NO Info on the rig other than E1312 is a Hahn. Anybody want to offer any??

This truck was delivered new to Mercerville Fire Company, Hamilton Township NJ in 1980. In the mid to late 1990's this 1500/500 pumper was refirbished to the photo in post #124.

Here is a scanned photo I took of it in 1985. Sorry for the quality.
