great shots Karl. That Dive/Rescue Truck from Orland looks like something "Hess Gasoline" would make for Christmas. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Beat me to it Karl, I was headed to Frankfort this weekend for the city's fall festival! They have a pretty good lookin fleet.
Is there any chance that Orland E5 is the former E1? I ask because they seem identical and I have both being '04 Enforcers or was there a multiple rig order?
Thanks in advance.

Ladder 68......You are correct. E1 was handed to E5 when the did some reorganizing of apparatus staffing and placement. Even though station 1 houses an engine, it is a reserve piece. They run Truck 1 and Ambo 1 out of there, soon to be Tower Ladder 1 (quint) and the T1 (w/ no pump) will become a reserve.

Another Orland question or two:
They are going to make the current T01 ('05 or '06 Pierce Lance 105') a reserve and replace it with a tower ladder? Is there a T02? If so, was it ever assigned a Spartan/Darley Snorkel? And if so, was it ever T04 by chance? Thanks in advance for the questions.

Nice Shots! Didn't Peotone have an older Pierce Refurbed Ladder & Rescue or am i thinking somewhere else?
AVFC1699, YES. That rig was I believe a former New Lenox truck which has been sold.
Ladder 68, and you are correct too. The current Orland Truck 1 will become a fully stocked reserve truck. The issue w/ that rig is it was specked w/out a pump and such and after a major reorganization of staffing and equipment, it was determined to not be so practical. The tower will be Tower 1. Truck 2 the snorkel is being somewhat refurbished and used as a public education/training vehicle from what I have been told. If I remember correctly, the snorkel has at some time been assigned to every station or close to it. It last served as T2. For a while they ran it (into the ground) as Rescue 1 which went to nearly every run, fire & ems. Hope this helps. As I get the rest of the Orland fleet, I will post them. Karl
